Jonesville residents, start looking in the newspaper booster for an announcement about the 2016 reunion and somebody let me know that it was put in there or send me a copy. I paid dearly for the announcement.
Clara Belle Williams was the first black graduate of New Mexico State University. Many of her professors would not allow her inside the class room, she had to take notes from the hallway. She was also not allowed to walk with her class on graduation day.
